Shawn Smith (alias forest59) is a band director and instrumental music instructor at Troy Howard Middle School in Belfast, Maine. He lives in Sandy Point with his wife Karen Hawthorne, two cats named Lucy & Linus, and a dog named Bandit. Karen teaches music in Lamoine. Besides teaching music, they have much in common, including taking a graduate level technology course together! Shawn will maintain and upgrade this weblog as required by the class assignments in EDTO 598: Introduction to Using Technology to Teach.
